I believe in a creative and safe learning environment. Every student learns in a different way and I want to allow them to be able to do that in my classroom as well. I want my students never to be afraid to ask questions, but instead always come to me wanting to learn more. Every student will learn at a different pace and I want to allow them to be able to do that to insure that they are learning more.

I believe in classroom management. In order for any classroom to function in a proper and orderly way there needs to be some type of management. That means that the teacher need to express clear rules that need to be followed by all students. Upon not following those rules, they need to understand that discipline will follow those actions. As a teacher, you do not want your students walking all over you, so therefore you need to establish ground rules for everyone.

I believe in effort put in by both students and teacher. If no one is trying then no one is learning. Students should always do their very best to complete there work on time and if they cannot do that, then talk to the teacher and work it out. Students should always try to do their best in the classroom and that is also where the teacher comes in and makes sure to encourage them. As a teacher you always need to be trying. Trying to find to think of new ways to teach, trying to help your students learn better, and most importantly trying to make your students be the very best they can be.

I believe in always making learing fun. Having fun while also learning at the same time allows students to open up more and be more involved in learning. By making classwork fun it puts it in a way that students can understand and grasp it better. Anytime you make learning fun they may not even realize they are learning. By doing this is accomplishes your job as a teacher and all the while they had fun and did not even realize how much they were learning.

I believe that my job as a teacher is to help the developement of every student that comes into my classroom. I want to make sure that as a teacher I help them grow the best way I know how, through teaching. When in elementary school students go through major developemental periods so I want to make sure that they go through that and become a better student than they were in order to make them the most successful student all throughout their life.

I believe that as a teahcer I should reach out to all my students without bias. Every student should be treated the same and be held to the exact same standard as other students. Students can pick up when you do not expect as much out of them therefore this will make them become a lazier student and not be as prodictive in class. Therefore I believe holding all students to the same standard is very important.

I believe that in my classroom every student should be confident in themselves and successful as a student. In order to make sure every student learns to the best of their abilities I need to make sure that they know that as a teacher I have confidence in them as well. In doing so it will lead to a more successful classroom overall and a better learning experience for all students. Students will be able to pick out if you do not believe in them so that is why it is best to instill a world of confidence in them.

I believe all students can and will learn at a high levels regardless of their ethnicity or background. Every student has the ability to learn as much as their classmates but they may have to just put in more effort. I also believe that as a teacher I can also learn from those students of different backgrounds in order to make myself a better teacher. I believe every student deserves love and care from me as a teacher. That goes with the fact that as a teacher I want to build those key relationships with all my students. By doing this it provides them the best learning experience to always remember.
This page contains my "I believe" statements that go along with my teaching philosophy. These are statements that I think will help make my classroom more sucessful. This should allow whoever views my website to get a better view of me as an educator. These statements address my students each as individuals and make sure that they get the best possible learning experience that they can.
